Motorcycle racing practically was practically handed down into Matthias Meggle's cradle. His father took part in speedway races and later opened a motorcycle shop.

When Matthias was 6 years old, he began to plow through the parents garden with a kid quad. A year later, there was a bike for children in the motorcycle business of his father. When his father told him that he could take it if he got the bike to run, the ambition was awakened in him. The course for his motorcycle-racing career was set. Soon he took part in his first race.

From Supermoto he moved into road racing in 2011. After two years in the ADAC Mini Bike Cup, where he secured the title in 2012, he moved to the ADAC Junior Cup in 2013. There he succeeded with the third overall position in 2014.
