Dynavolt Intact GP team presentation 2017 in front of an enthusiastic crowd

Pure passion for MotoGP and Motorsport attracted more than 500 people to come to Memmingen on Friday evening for the presentation of the 2017 riders pairing and the new bikes of the Dynavolt Intact GP team.

On Friday, 3 March, the team presentation of the Moto2 team was celebrated as a huge spectacle in the facilities of Keckeisen Accumulators.

The passion for motorsports and speed was shared by the presenters Edgar Mielke & Alex Hofmann with the more than 500 guests, including many sponsors from the region of the Memmingen racing team.

The interview partners on the stage of the racing experts included some prominent guests, such as the legends Toni Mang, Adi Stadler and Ralf Waldmann. In addition, reigning Formula 3 vice-champion Maximilian Günther, together with Hans-Jürgen Abt and Red Bull Air Race World Champion 2016 Matthias Dolderer were part of the show.

Liqui Moly's marketing manager Peter Baumann was not to be missed, while the CEO of main sponsor Dynavolt, Leonard Chen, sent video greetings from China.

Then the moment arrived. The Countdown was on, a black curtain was lifted, the smell of racing fuel was in the air and announced the absolute highlight of the evening - Sandro Cortese and new entry Marcel Schrötter riding their 600cc Suter bikes through the crowd to the stage.

Representatives of the Swiss chassis manufacturer Suter Industries, the CEO Maurizio Bäumle as well as engineer Alessandro Giussani and project manager Reto Karrer were present. "Our heart and DNA are racing, we want to show that. If the riders are as happy with the motorcycles at the end of the season as they are now, we are satisfied," said Maurizio Bäumle.

In the end, the whole team gathered on stage with the riders. The team directors Jürgen Lingg, Stefan Keckeisen and Wolfgang Kuhn, then Marcel's crew chief Patrick Mellauner, as well as the mechanics Thomas Wegscheider and Felix Kertzscher, are part of the thirteen-man team that keeps everything running smoothly. Then on Sandro's side his new crew chief Alfred Willeke as well as his mechanics Gianluca Montanari and Vasil Markov. Not to mention data specialist Gero Beetz and media manager Karina Homilius.

Part of the evening was the presentation of Intact GP's new junior project. In addition to Matthias Meggle, who will compete in the Red Bull Rookies Cup this year again, the team colours will continue to be represented in the ADAC Northern Europe Cup in cooperation with the RAS Intact GP team. RAS stands for Racing Academy Sachsenring - a talent factory with seat at the Sachsenring, which is led by Dirk Reißmann as Teammanager and Kai Grabner as Technical Director.

Riders are two super fast youngster from Saxony. Marvin Siebdraht (13 years old) from Wildenfels is even the youngest participant in the ADAC Northern Europe Cup. His box neighbour is Paul Fröde (14 years old) from Hohenstein-Ernstthal.

"We have a great young riders potential in our region, but there is a lack of logistical possibilities. We decided to take advantage of the opportunities offered at Sachsenring. Marvin and Paul both were integrated in the performance center with nine and ten years old and have started to compete in the Minibike category. Later, they climbed up to the Moriwaki Junior Cup, where Paul became fourth and Marvin finished seventh, despite a major accident and injury," said Dirk Reißmann.

"The cooperation with Intact GP came about the common goal of supporting the next generation. I've known Jürgen Lingg for many years and we get along very well. Should we be able to deliver reasonable and good work in the next few years, I am sure that we can form a very good platform for new young talents."

The entire team DYNAVOLT INTACT GP would like to thank all the helpers who once again made this unique event such a great success!
