Intact GP confirms Jesko Raffin as MotoE rider
In 2019, the Dynavolt Intact GP team will fight for the MotoE World Cup title together with Swiss rider Jesko Raffin!
When the MotoE World Cup era begins in the upcoming season, Dynavolt Intact GP will be one of a total of 12 selected MotoGP and Moto2 class teams competing in the new Electric Series.
The battery racing team from Germany is allowed to send one entry into the 18-riders starting grid. The team is happy to confirm the talented Swiss rider Jesko Raffin. In 2011, the 22-year-old won the German Yamaha Cup and then the international FIM CEV Repsol Moto2 Championship. From 2015 to 2017 he competed in the Moto2 World Championship and last year secured fourth place in Australia. Jesko Raffin currently leads the European Moto2 Championship on a Kalex after seven podium finishes, including three victories, with a lead of 50 points. Two weeks ago he celebrated his World Championship comeback as a substitute rider in Moto2 at Misano and promptly secured a top-15 result.
From 23 to 25 November, the future MotoE rider will have his first chance to test his new electric bike, the Energica Ego Corsa, in Jerez. Further tests will take place next year from 13 to 15 March and from 23 to 25 April.
