With willpower and passion to the 2022 season opener in Qatar

The German LIQUI MOLY Intact GP team, led by newcomer Jeremy Alcoba and Marcel Schrötter, is ready for the season opener at the 5.4 km Losail International Circuit just outside Doha, which is illuminated by thousands of floodlights.

Even though Marcel Schrötter is still slightly ailing from surgery on his left hand, the 29-year-old is extremely motivated to start his sixth season with the LIQUI MOLY Intact GP team with a bang. The Bavarian is confident that a hand splint specially made for him will keep the pain under control and that he will be able to tackle the top 10 with a partly new crew. The German definitely has good memories of the popular desert circuit, after once taking pole position and 3rd place in Lusail in 2019.

Rookie Jeremy Alcoba, meanwhile, is eagerly awaiting his Moto2 debut and hopes to build up the perfect feeling with his Kalex after the instructive tests in Portimao less than two weeks ago.

Will Marcel Schrötter be able to leave his qualifying demons of the past behind and can newcomer Jeremy Alcoba withstand the pressure of the extremely competitive Intermediate class?
