Encouraging progress at the Barcelona test

The Dynavolt Intact GP team was back in action on Tuesday following the Catalan Grand Prix for an official Moto2 test in Barcelona.

The one-day test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya was just in time to try out some important things before the two upcoming races at Assen and Sachsenring.

Especially Marcel Schrötter, who had some difficulties to get his usual performance in the last weeks, could make a good step in the right direction. The 26-year-old did 92 laps in perfect sunny test conditions and worked intensively with his crew on the geometry of his Kalex. With constant and decent lap times, he was finally able to leave Barcelona with a much better feeling.

Tom Lüthi tried to find the last tenths missing to win on Sunday after his recent podium finish. He also worked with his technicians mainly on the geometry and fine-tuning of the setup. After 71 laps, the Swiss was very satisfied with the knowledge he had gained.
