Raffin storms into fourth place on grid at Misano

Two free practice sessions and the E-Pole kept the Dynavolt Intact GP Team and Jesko Raffin busy on the first day of the Italian round of the MotoE World Cup.

The Dynavolt Intact GP Team around Swiss MotoE rider Jesko Raffin had a really busy Friday. With two free practice sessions and the E-Pole qualifying, three sessions were taking place and the starting position for the first ever two races on one weekend has been decided. Considering also the loading time of the Energica Ego Corsa MotoE bike this meant to be quick, also with the decisions about the setup of the E-bike.

Jesko Raffin finished both free practice sessions with the sixth and eighth position in the top ten. In the afternoon the Swiss was again on course for the front row, as he had been at the last event in Spielberg, Austria. Only the very last E-Pole starter pushed him to fourth place. Nevertheless, the hopes are big now to be able to fight for the first MotoE podium from row two this weekend.
