Intact GP quartet aims for top positions in Aragon

The LIQUI MOLY Dynavolt Intact GP Team is facing the next big test of strength at the Grand Prix of Aragon. Moto3 riders David Muñoz and Guido Pini want to maintain their position in the leading group, while Senna Agius is looking to follow up his recent debut victory in Moto2 and compete with his current world championship-leading team-mate Manuel Gonzalez.

The 5.078 kilometre MotorLand Aragon circuit is known for its spectacular passages such as the "Reverse Corkscrew" - a downhill chicane reminiscent of Laguna Seca - and the striking stone wall between Turns 12 and 13, elements that make the track particularly popular with riders and photographers alike.

For David Muñoz, the race in Aragon will be another home race. The young Spaniard has already impressed with several strong performances here and wants to attack again in front of his home crowd. Team-mate Guido Pini, who has already scored important points this season, wants to continue his upward trend and establish himself further in the leading group. Both riders are highly motivated to prevail against the strong competition in the 17-lap race on Sunday at 11:00 am.

In the Moto2 class, the duo of Manuel Gonzalez and Senna Agius will represent the colours of the only German team in the Motorcycle World Championship. Gonzalez, who is travelling to Aragon as the world championship leader and has already celebrated successes there in the past, wants to build on his strong performances of the season following his unfortunate retirement at Silverstone. Senna Agius is travelling with a tailwind: After his debut victory, the young Australian is more motivated than ever and wants to pick up where he left off in Great Britain at the demanding circuit.

The Moto2 race starts at 12:15 on Sunday and promises to be a thrilling 19 laps.
