Garzo & Baldassarri kick off the next round of MotoE in Austria

After a seven-week break, the Dynavolt Intact GP Team is back in the MotoE circus with Hector Garzo and Lorenzo Baldassarri. The third race of the 2025 season in Austria at the legendary Red Bull Ring marks the start of a busy second half of the season for the team from Memmingen: Defending champion Garzo is looking to get back on track after his injury, while MotoE rookie Baldassarri arrives in fourth place in the world championship standings.

Reigning MotoE world champion Hector Garzo had a bumpy start to the season after injuring his elbow at Le Mans. But just in time for the race in Assen, the 27-year-old Spaniard returned to action, scored valuable points – and proved that he can quickly regain his old form. With his winning mentality from last year – when he won race one in Spielberg and finished third in the second race – Garzo wants to take further steps towards defending his title this weekend.

Teammate Lorenzo Baldassarri has already made a big impression in his first MotoE season. After finishing in the top six at the season opener in France, the 28-year-old Italian celebrated his first MotoE podium with a third place at Assen. This impressively underlined his rapid adaptation to the electric series and he is highly motivated going into the next challenge at the Red Bull Ring, which, with its 4.35 kilometres and spectacular mountain panorama, is not only one of the visual highlights of the calendar, but also one of the most demanding layouts.

Both Intact GP riders are well prepared for the two sprint races on Saturday (starting times: 12:10 and 16:10) to score important points in the title fight – and to offer the fans thrilling racing action.
