Intact GP bereit für heißes Übersee-Finale in Malaysia

After intense weeks in Japan, Indonesia and Australia, the last overseas race of the 2025 season is on the agenda this weekend: the Malaysian Grand Prix at the traditional Sepang International Circuit. There, LIQUI MOLY Dynavolt Intact GP rider Manuel Gonzalez wants to take the next step towards winning the Moto2 title, while Senna Agius starts the 20th race of the season with plenty of momentum after his brilliant home victory last week. In Moto3, Guido Pini and Brian Uriarte are getting to know another fascinating track and try to quickly adapt to the tropical conditions.

Seventeen-year-old Brian Uriarte will also replace the injured David Muñoz at the Sepang International Circuit, which is known for its extreme conditions. In Malaysia, he now wants to gain further World Championship experience alongside his teammate Guido Pini. Pini, who last scored points in Australia with 12th place, has set his sights on finishing in the top 10. In addition to the oppressive heat and high humidity, tyre management could be a decisive factor.

Manuel Gonzalez travels to Malaysia as the narrow World Championship leader, just two points ahead of Diogo Moreira. After finishing seventh at Phillip Island, the Spaniard is determined to dictate the pace from the start in Sepang and return to the podium. Teammate Senna Agius arrives in Southeast Asia brimming with confidence: the Australian celebrated a spectacular victory at his home race at Phillip Island, his second win in Moto2, and is keen to fight for the top spots again in Malaysia.

European fans will once again have to get up early to watch the action live. The Moto3 race starts at 5:00 a.m. German time on Sunday morning, followed by Moto2 at around 6:15 a.m. Sepang marks the end of the intense overseas phase, before the LIQUI MOLY Dynavolt Intact GP Team heralds the penultimate showdown of the season in Portugal in two weeks' time.
