Dynavolt Intact GP: Farewell to MotoE at the season finale in Portugal

The Dynavolt Intact GP team has arrived on the Portuguese Atlantic coast – ready for the grand finale of the 2025 MotoE World Championship season. The Portuguese Grand Prix at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve marks not only the end of the season, but also the end of this globally unique electric motorcycle racing series after seven exciting years. For the German racing team and its two riders, this means an emotional farewell weekend full of fighting spirit lies ahead.

Since its opening in 2008, the Portimão circuit has thrilled spectators with its spectacular layout, extreme elevation changes and technically demanding sections. As an integral part of international motorsport, it is the ideal venue for the historic MotoE finale – both for riders and the thousands of fans expected to attend.

For Lorenzo Baldassarri, the Portuguese Grand Prix not only marks the end of the season, but also the emotional conclusion of his MotoE chapter with Intact GP after just one season. The Italian showed fighting spirit on several occasions in 2025 and made a strong impression in the high-calibre field of the electric scene. With his racing instinct, World Championship experience and precision on the all-electric Ducati bike, Baldassarri has always been a source of hope for the team. In the final race, he wants to give it his all once again to secure the world championship title or at least a place in the top three in the standings with two more top results, as only twelve points currently separate him from World Championship leader Alessandro Zaccone.

Teammate Hector Garzo travels to the Algarve with positive memories and clear goals. In 2024, the Spaniard won the highly contested world championship title in the season finale (then in Misano) and also impressed in 2025 with consistent pace and great commitment. He appreciates the challenging climbs and combinations of corners on the Algarve circuit and wants to continue his upward streak at the season finale with another top finish for himself and the Dynavolt Intact GP Team.

The 2025 season finale also marks the end of a glorious era: seven years of MotoE and a success story full of highlights: countless race victories, two rider titles and one team title characterise the German racing team's record. The ambitious MotoE crew from Dynavolt Intact GP will compete one last time – with a clear goal: to bow out of MotoE history with a bang.
