Howdy! Getting ready for the Texas Rodeo in Austin

With a full line-up, the LIQUI MOLY Husqvarna Intact GP team travels to Austin in the US state of Texas, where, in the endless expanse, the iconic Circuit of the Americas welcomes the motorcycle world championship from the 14th to 16th of April for the third round of the season.

After a short break over the Easter weekend, the third race of the season is now underway. The journey will take the four riders from the LIQUI MOLY Husqvarna Intact GP team to the COTA, which was penned by the renowned German race track architect Hermann Tilke. With a length of 5.5 km, it is one of the few counter-clockwise tracks and with a straight of over 1200 m and elevation changes of up to 41 m, it is also one of the most iconic tracks on the calendar.

For Lukas Tulovic, the forced break due to injury could end this weekend, provided the doctors give him the go after a final medical check. The German can hardly wait to return to his team after having to sit out the first two races of the season. Looking forward to raising the flag for the Memmingen-based racing team alongside fellow Moto2 rookie Darryn Binder, the 22-year-old hopes to score his first World Championship points and back up his promising performances from pre-season testing with valuable results.

Speaking of world championship points: In Moto3, Ayumu Sasaki and Collin Veijer are also highly motivated to fight within the front again and fill their points accounts even further. The Japanese rider finished fourth last year and hopes to conquer the podium in 2023. For the young Dutchman, on the other hand, it will be the first visit to Austin, but his ever-increasing learning curve makes everyone confident that the rookie will quickly find his rhythm and groove at the Circuit of the Americas.

For German fans, the seven-hour time difference means that the MotoGP action will once again be on prime time on ServusTV. The Moto3 and Moto2 races will start on Sunday at 18:00 and 19:15 respectively (CEST).
