Viva Barcelona - Between podium battles, Top 10 hopes, and a substitute rider

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will host the eleventh race of the season from the 1st - 3rd of September, at which the LIQUI MOLY Husqvarna Intact GP team will not be starting with its full regular line-up, as 18-year-old Senna Agius will be replacing the injured Darryn Binder in Moto2 alongside Lukas Tulovic. In Moto3, Ayumu Sasaki and rookie Collin Veijer continue to battle head-to-head for top results.

The Moto3 Grand Prix of Austria marked a milestone for the German racing team, as for the first time not only starlet Ayumu Sasaki fought for victory, but also fellow rookie Collin Veijer, who continues to make enormous progress and recently showed the competition that the young Dutchman is not to be underestimated, especially when he returns to a track he is familiar with, such as the 4.66 km long Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The 18-lap race, held just a few kilometers north of the Spanish metropolis of Barcelona, promises to be another thrilling showdown.

In Moto2, the repeatedly injured Darryn Binder will have to sit out in order to recover quickly from his vertebrae injury. In his place, Senna Agius will once again take the saddle. The young Australian has already replaced the South African several times this season. For the rider of the LIQUI MOLY Husqvarna Intact GP Junior Team, this is another valuable opportunity to get to know Grand Prix racing. For Lukas Tulovic, the recent success in Austria has led to a glimmer of hope. The young German hopes to already be in a good starting position for the qualifying, which starts on Saturday from 13:45 (CEST), in order to then be able to advance into the hard-fought top 10 in the 21-lap race on Sunday at 12:15 (CEST).
