With fresh zeal into the Malaysia weekend

From the 10th - 12th of November, the Sepang International Circuit will host the Malaysian Grand Prix, where LIQUI MOLY Husqvarna Intact GP rider Ayumu Sasaki will be aiming to get closer to the Moto3 title again, while rookie colleague Collin Veijer will be trying to turn his first GP podium into a second. In Moto2, Darryn Binder and Lukas Tulovic are hoping for a weekend full of points.

The Malaysian Grand Prix marks the eighteenth race weekend of the 2023 MotoGP World Championship, in which Moto3 ace Ayumu Sasaki is making great strides towards his lifelong dream of a motorcycle world championship title. Just under a fortnight ago, the Japanese rider suffered a major setback in Thailand when he was taken out of the race on the second lap through no fault of his own. Undeterred by his big goal, he is now travelling to the third to last race of the season with a 17-point deficit. After his first podium success, Collin Veijer is brimming with motivation going into the heat battle on the 5.54 kilometer long Sepang International Circuit, which is located just 50 kilometers outside the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur.

The track, which is known for its brilliant overtaking maneuvers, also brings the hot phase of the Moto2 World Championship underway. This means that Darryn Binder and Lukas Tulovic will try and find their way back into the top 10. Shaking off the past and looking to the future is the duo's motto for the final three race weekends. The 25-year-old Binder knows the challenges in Malaysia just as well as the German Lukas Tulovic, who has once again set himself ambitious goals for the final triple-header of the season.

Once again, German-speaking fans will have to get up early, as there is a seven-hour time difference to Malaysia.
