Between Top 10 hopes and comeback fever

After three race-free weekends, the Gran Premio d'Italia Oakley hosts the sixth round of the World Championship, and for one of the four LIQUI MOLY Husqvarna Intact GP riders, it is a long-awaited one, as Moto2 rider Darryn Binder returns after a long injury break and hopes to pick up where his upward trend came to a temporary end in Austin, Texas.

In Moto3, rookie rider Collin Veijer is working on the next steps towards the top 10, while his experienced Japanese teammate, Ayumu Sasaki, hopes to top the second place from Le Mans with his first win of the season. For the 17-lap race, the 22-year-old Sasaki and his 18-year-old teammate have high expectations.

Darryn Binder is looking forward to the famous Mugello race in front of hopefully thousands of Tifosi after the South African has not sat on his Kalex since his crash in the third free practice of the Texas Grand Prix. The first practice sessions on Friday will show how much time the rookie will need to get used to the racy Moto2 bike again.
Lukas Tulovic just missed out on the top 10 in France, so the German will be doing everything he can to break this magic barrier and be among the best of the best. The prerequisite for this is a strong qualifying and, along with it, a good starting position.

Fans of the world's most prestigious motorcycle racing category can look forward to three packed days of racing action on the 5.245 km circuit just outside Florence from the 9th to the 11th of June, culminating in the Moto3 races on Sunday at 11:00 and the Moto2 at 12:20.
