The MotoE points chase enters the second round

After a hugely successful season opener at Le Mans, the second round of the 2023 MotoE World Championship finally gets underway three weeks later from the 09th - 10th of June, with DYNAVOLT INTACT GP MotoE Team's Hector Garzo arriving in second place of the world ranking. Randy Krummenacher, meanwhile, is just slightly behind his teammate and hopes to join him on the podium.

With three podiums already in the bag, things could hardly have gone better for the DYNAVOLT INTACT GP MotoE team from Germany at the season opener in France. In Mugello, Italy, the challenging 5.245 km traditional track amidst the Tuscan hills sets the stage for two more breathtaking seven-lap sprints in the MotoE category.

24-year-old Hector Garzo is seeking his first win of the season after being narrowly beaten twice at Le Mans.

As for rookie Randy Krummenacher, the Swiss rider sits fourth overall after a podium finish and hopes to gain plenty of experience with each successive lap to use against his rivals in the races. Will the 33-year-old be able to put the pressure back on with his Ducati V21L machine and continue to improve?

The answer will be found on Saturday in Race 1 at 12:15 and Race 2, which seals the weekend in the electric class at 16:10.
