Heading to its home round as World Championship leading team: LIQUI MOLY Dynavolt

This weekend, the LIQUI MOLY Dynavolt Intact GP Team is set to face the absolute highlight of the season: its home Grand Prix at the legendary racetrack in the Free State of Saxony. And to top it all off, LIQUI MOLY, one of the main partners of the Memmingen-based racing team, is serving as the title sponsor for the German Grand Prix.

Since 1998, the German Motorcycle Grand Prix has found a new home at the Sachsenring and has been a crowd-pleaser year after year ever since. The Grand Prix weekend is even considered as one of the largest outdoor events in Germany. The Sachsenring captivates spectators with its unique layout and, above all, with an atmosphere that is second to none: Rarely do riders experience the enthusiasm and support of the fans in the packed grandstands so intensely.

After a strong first half of the season, LIQUI MOLY Dynavolt Intact GP’s Moto2 team heads to the German circuit as the series leader. Manuel Gonzalez arrives in Saxony as the championship leader, while his teammate Senna Agius, currently third in the standings, is also among the top contenders for the title. Expectations are correspondingly high, but the team is facing the challenge with great confidence.

The Moto3 team also celebrated a podium finish at Assen recently. David Almansa was once again performing strongly and fought his way up from the second row of the grid to finish second, marking his third podium finish of the season. Heading into the final race of the first half of the season, the 20-year-old Spanish rider sits in third place in the overall standings. As was the case at the last two Grand Prix in the Czech Republic and the Netherlands, Marcos Uriarte will once again replace injured David Muñoz. Uriarte has quickly put behind him the disappointment after crashing out in Assen and will once again give it his all this weekend to score more important points for the team.
