Off for more glorious acts at the season's classic race in Italy's Tuscany

With the upcoming Italian Grand Prix, an absolute highlight of the calendar is on the agenda. Moto2 and Moto3 crews from LIQUI MOLY Dynavolt Intact GP head into the seventh race weekend of the year in top form and with highly-boosted self-confidence.

When listing the reasons why the World Championship's visit to Italy — held at the stunning race track nestled in a natural bowl amidst Tuscany's breathtaking landscape — is one of the absolute highlights of the season, it's hard not to leave something out.

However, the entire LIQUI MOLY Dynavolt Intact GP team is certainly looking forward to this weekend's Italian Grand Prix. Following Manuel Gonzalez's stroke of genius on race day last time out in Barcelona and the strong performance from Senna Agius, who brought his bike home in tenth, the mood couldn't be better. Given their current top form, Gonzalez — who finished an official test last Tuesday at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya with the fastest time — and Australian native Agius are podium contenders, if not outright victory candidates in Mugello. Gonzalez arrives as the championship leader and last year's Mugello winner, while Agius heads to Italy currently sitting fourth in the standings.

Following a pair of gutsy performances in Barcelona's thrilling Moto3 race, the team's Spanish duo David Muñoz and David Almansa are hungry for more in Mugello. Muñoz had victory in his sights after a bold overtake in the final corner, eventually crossing the line in third place following an incredibly tight battle. This marked his second podium in just three races since returning from injury. A year ago, the 20-year-old from Seville finished fifth at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello. His teammate Almansa was also among the contenders for the win until the very closing stages at the Catalan round. Although he ultimately missed out on a podium spot, his efforts were rewarded with a fifth-place finish.
