With home advantage & winning ambitions: Intact GP Team hot for Mugello weekend

The LIQUI MOLY Dynavolt Intact GP Team is ready for the ninth MotoGP weekend of the season at the legendary Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello from the 20th to 22nd of June 2025. With David Muñoz and Guido Pini in Moto3 and Manuel Gonzalez and Senna Agius in Moto2, the German team is highly motivated to attack on one of the most demanding and beautiful race tracks on the calendar.

Located just 30 kilometres north-east of Florence, the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello combines a unique mix of slow and fast corners and long straights that provide thrilling racing and a breathtaking backdrop in front of thousands of tifosi (fans) year after year.

Amidst the Tuscan hills, the picturesque 5.25 km circuit awaits the riders - a highlight for Guido Pini, who could walk from his home to the race track and is eagerly awaiting his first home Grand Prix as a world championship rider. The 17-year-old Moto3 rookie, who has shown an impressive learning curve since the start of the season and has already finished in the points four times, is hoping for his best result to date with the support of the Italian fans and is therefore aiming for a place in the top 7. Team-mate David Muñoz, 19 years old, wants to use on the momentum after his recent Moto3 debut win in Aragon and fight for the top positions again.

In Moto2, Manuel Gonzalez, who finished second behind Joe Roberts last year, is aiming for his fourth win of the season at the ninth round of the season in order to build up a lead over Aron Canet in the championship standings. Team-mate Senna Agius brings the same ambitions with him to Italy, as the 20-year-old Australian also wants to be among the front-runners. Together, the two Kalex riders want to build a momentum for an exciting mid-season and confirm their top performances to date.
The spectacular layout of the Mugello Circuit offers numerous overtaking opportunities, which must be consistently utilised in the 19-lap Moto2 race starting at 12:15 on Sunday. Before that, at 11:00, Moto3 will be battling for glory, honour and important world championship points.
