LIQUI MOLY Intact GP duo aims to continue upward trend in second half of season

After a five-week summer break, it's now back to leather suits on, helmets on, and full throttle when the Motorcycle World Championship kicks off the second half of the season this weekend in Great Britain at the legendary Silverstone Circuit with plenty of anticipation and action.

Marcel Schrötter, in particular, is keen to keep his winning streak going after P4 at Sachsenring and his missed first Moto2 win at Assen. And even though things have not gone particularly smoothly for the German Moto2 veteran in England in the past two years, the 29-year-old is full of motivation to conquer the 5.9 km British track in 2022 and establish his name in the leading group.

His nine years younger teammate Jeremy Alcoba, is also aiming to improve as the second and all-important half of the season begins. After showing small progress in the last races before the summer break, he now finally wants to fight for points again. Full of confidence that he can fulfill his potential, the rookie travels to his 12th Moto2 race and will do everything in his power not to go home empty-handed.

Regarding the schedule, it should be noted on Sunday that the Moto2 Grand Prix will be held after the premier class race as the day's conclusion at 15:30 (CEST).
