Intact GP Juniors start the new season in Estoril
In the high-profile junior series, the German racing team has also entered two promising talents in the Moto3 Junior World Championship.
For its 25th anniversary, the series has been rebranded with the FIM JuniorGP World Championship, which mainly relates to Moto3™. However, the Moto2 European Championship and the European Talent Cup are still included.
As was the case a year ago, Estoril circuit not far from the Portuguese capital of Lisbon will once again play host to the season opener. For the first time, LIQUI MOLY Intact GP Junior Team is represented in all three classes with a total of four riders. In addition to Lukas Tulovic (Moto2) and Philipp Tonn (new in Moto3), two young Austrian riders Jakob Rosenthaler (Moto3) and Niklas Kitzbichler (ETC) have joined the team from Memmingen in the Allgäu region.
The series' race calendar comprises eight events, all at modern circuits in southern Europe. The format of a race weekend remains unchanged with free practice sessions on Thursday and Friday, followed by two 40-minutes long qualifying sessions per class on Saturday and the races on Sunday. On race day, as usual, there will be a live stream via the series' YouTube channel.
