Garzo & Tulovic aim to confirm their favourite status at Le Mans

A few weeks after the brilliant season opener in Portugal, the Dynavolt Intact GP Team's MotoE duo are now heading to the second stop on French soil for the third and fourth race of the year, where current championship runner-up Hector Garzo and Lukas Tulovic, who is fourth in the championship, are aiming to fight for points, podiums and world championship rankings.

For the fifth time, the FIM MotoE World Championship will be held at the legendary, albeit extremely challenging, Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans, France. This iconic track is located just five kilometres south of the city of the same name and is known for its stop-and-go character. There are very few flowing sectors on the 4.19-kilometre track, instead, the nine right-handers and five left-hand corners are characterised by late braking points and hard acceleration sections.

At the season opener in Portugal, Spaniard Hector Garzo achieved two strong second places. In Le Mans, the aim now is to celebrate the next successes in both 8-lap races on Saturday in order to further consolidate his second position in the world championship. The 25-year-old proved that he can also master the hurdles of the French circuit on the Ducati V21L with two podium finishes last year.

Lukas Tulovic is also no stranger to the Bugatti Circuit. Last year's Moto2 rider knows every inch of the stop-and-go track, which celebrated a new spectator record in 2023. The German also got the season off to a good start in Portimao and is looking forward to more thrilling races, hopefully with high-scoring finishes. The 23-year-old, who bridged the gap between the first two rounds of the season as a Sky commentator, goes into the French Grand Prix in fourth place in the world championship and, together with his team-mate, wants to keep the Dynavolt Intact GP MotoE Team in the first place of the team standings.

The first race will start on Saturday at 12:15 (CEST), followed by the second race at 16:10 (CEST), where the current weather forecast indicates that rain could be possible.
